Breathe Better To Feel Better

Bring energy to your body and mind through breathwork.

The way you breathe can bring you more vitality, energy and improved mental, and physical health.  Your breath patterns can also keep you stuck in a cycle of low energy, pain, and a poor mood.

Learning to breathe better by practicing breath work can help you calm your mind, focus, and even feel more balanced in your body. I’ve worked with many clients who have done 10 to 15 minutes of breathing at the beginning of their session with me and the results are that they feel feel lighter, easier and have more energy.

Your breath can help you to have more patience, stamina and magnetism when you are with people. It gives you energy and aliveness.

Look out for the places in your body that feel constricted as you breathe.  An easy way to do this,  is to breathe into your ribcage, specifically your diaphragm. You can place your hands over your lower ribcage and feel the breath expanding your ribs as you inhale and gathering them together as you exhale.

The touch of your hands on your ribs tells your brain to go there and observe your breath. Placing your hands there, can help you stay focused longer, on your breath.

When you breathe fully and deeply in your body, it can improve many aspects of your health, posture, and even your mindset. You can gain improvements in the following areas, as you learn to improve your breath patterns.

Brain health - having a steady and consistent breath helps you to feel happier and lighter.   It helps your mind to be more clear and your brain to function more efficiently.

Mood - when you are angry or frustrated, taking some time to sit down and breathe, and let go of the thoughts in your head, will help you think more clearly, and shift a bad mood into new hope and possibilities.

Stress Relief-When you feel stress such as worry, overwhelm or exhaustion, your breath will help you feel lighter and easier. I’ve had clients tell me that by doing the breath work  they shifted their biggest frustrations significantly, so that it had much less power over their thoughts.

Healing- The breath will promote better circulation and better blood flow.  if you’re not feeling well, you are recovering from an injury or you have nerve pain, doing some breath work every day will promote healing in your body. Bringing more oxygen into your blood makes a difference in your body’s ability to heal well.

Travel - breath work gives you more energy and helps you recover quickly from the exertion of long trips or long days.

Athletic activities - breathing more fully as you exert your energy, will give you more stamina.

Bottom line - Learning to breathe fully with  ease, brings a energetic quality to your body and mind.

Results- My clients share with me that they significantly improve their relaxation, decrease body aches, feel lighter and more agile.  I also hear stories that they sleep better, get over their frustrations easier and they have more energy!
